The twenty– four solar terms is important part of the long Chinese history, expressing the unique sense of time between man and nature in the universe, containing the rich culture connotation and the accumulation of the long Chinese history. They are regarded as the fifth invention of China in the field of the international meteorology.
The twenty –four solar terms is formally listed as the representative of the intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO (联合国教科文组织) in 2016.
